Moon Light

Sometimes words cannot express how much you mean to me.

I paint a canvass black, put a litlle white dot in the center and call it "you";

my light in the middle of darkness.

We were walking along the streets of UP. He was walking about a meter ahead of me. I looked up in the clear night sky when I saw this nostalgic figure. The moon explained the lighted path we were trekking during that night, a lampless street, but glimmering under it's white washed facade. We crossed the street. I happen to follow the moon, awed again by it's majesty, like a thirteen year old in love. I put out my camera phone and pointed it up when upon it's screen I saw this huge old tree blocking my viewpoint. I glanced to the moon and back to my phone's screen. The moon's light still shone amidst the shadows of the father tree. I took a picture anyway. I stopped dead in my tracks. He asked why. I said something so fast he din't understand. He asked again. Slowly I explained how I wrote this prose for him(Garamond font above), for my ym status; weeks before this shot registered in the phone I was holding in my palm at that time.(Picture above, center)
